The Terre Umbre “sugo rosso” (red sauce) made of the best Italian tomatoes. A rare ready to use sauce that does not contain any preservative. The harmony of Mediterranean ingredients, with tomatoes, extra-virgin oil, garlic, salt and herb, a burst of strong flavor and natural aroma. A confection for 2 to 3 person.
Available in store two type typical Umbria’s red sauce: Sugo al tartufo (tomato sauce with truffle), Sugo agli asparagi (tomato sauce with asparagus).
Sugo al tartufo: To bring out the best intense flavor of truffle, we suggest you to sauté the sauce on low heat for approximately 3 minutes the add the cooked, drained pasta. Mix well and enjoy.
Once opened keep the product in the refrigerator, adding a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Can be stored at low temperature for 7-9 days. Goes well with Pici, Umbricelli and Tagliatelle.
